Fair Trade Fortnight :-

Lord, please grant wisdom to those addressing the problems many villages face as they lose their schools, post offices, churches, shops and other important facilities. Please inspire local church leaders and congregations to use the resources they have to serve their communities.

Father, we pray that Fair Trade Fortnight will result in more people choosing to buy fair trade products that help small-scale farmers and craftspeople in the developing world. We ask that governments and large companies will increase their support of fair trade initiatives and recognise their ongoing benefits for individuals and communities.
